Polls open for Ontario election day; here is how you can vote in your region

Ontario’s snap election is today, with polls opening at 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Here is what voters need to know about casting a ballot.
Residents of Ontario who are Canadian citizens and are 18-years-old or older can vote.
Anyone who has not voted in advance of election day can bring their voter card and one piece of identification to their designated polling station.
Elections Ontario says photo ID is not required, and many government-issued items can be used instead – such as a birth certificate, an Ontario health card, or a citizenship card.
If you have not received your vote card in the mail, you can still cast a ballot by bringing a piece of identification that shows both your name and home address to the polling station.
Residents can find their assigned voting locations on the Elections Ontario website, found here, and putting in their postal code.
