Everything you need to know about Pelham’s 2026 municipal election

Pelham residents will go to the polls to cast their votes for the town’s next mayor and other municipal officials on Oct. 26, 2026.

More information on voting in Pelham and key dates can be found on the town’s website.

On May 29, 2024, Pelham City Council approved a new three-ward boundary model for the town. These changes will come into effect during this year’s municipal election.

The deadline to submit or withdraw nominations was Aug. 21 at 2 p.m.

Candidates are listed alphabetically by last name alongside a brief bio. This page will be updated regularly as the race develops, and individual ward candidate lists will follow the same format.

Pelham’s mayoral race

• Frank Adamon comes to the race with a long career as a paramedic, college professor, hospital vice president and small business owner. Adamon’s platform focuses on affordable housing, fiscal responsibility, environmental conservation and more.
• Wally Braun
• Randy Gananathan says he has managed businesses, budgets, technology projects and teams across North America, Asia, Europe and the Middle East. His platform focuses on better internet and cellular coverage, responsible growth, protecting Pelham’s heritage and more.
• Marvin Junkin (incumbent) has been the Mayor of Pelham since being elected in 2018. He is now seeking his third consecutive term. Junkin is running on making sure Pelham stays independent and avoiding amalgamation. According to his campaign website, as mayor, Junkin led Pelham to financial stability with a budgetary surplus for every year he’s been in office.
