A crash closed a section of Fennell Avenue West outside of Hillfield Strathallan College on Hamilton Mountain Tuesday afternoon just as school was about to let out.

The two-vehicle collision happened shortly after 2:30 p.m. on Fennell Avenue West near Auchmar Road, with one of the vehicles ending up on its side.

Hamilton police say no one was injured in the crash.

The cause of the collision has not been determined at this time.

The westbound lanes of Fennell Avenue West are closed at Auchmar Road while crews remove the vehicles.

Drivers are asked to avoid the area until the road reopens.
