Pedestrian injured in Hamilton morning collision

The westbound lanes of Barton Street East in Hamilton were closed Tuesday morning for a police investigation after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and sent to hospital.

Hamilton police say the incident happened around 6:30 a.m.

The driver remained on scene and is cooperating with police.

The road reopened shortly before 10 a.m.
