At least six people are being treated for injuries, after a Via rail train and a pick up truck collided in Southwestern Ontario.

It happened just before 11am Friday morning at a crossing west of Glencoe.

The OPP says the 24-year-old male driver of the truck suffered life-threatening injuries and was air-lifted to hospital.

Via Rail says other trains on the Oshawa-Windsor route may be affected, so passengers should check the company’s website before travelling.
