Lacrosse is an indigenous sport dating back thousands of years, and it’s still going strong. In Hamilton today, the Mohawk Mountaineers hosted the Ontario College Lacrosse Sixes Championships in Ancaster. It’s not only a first for Hamilton, but also a first for Ontario college lacrosse teams. Four Ontario colleges competed today, but some also have their eyes set on the 2028 Olympics.
