No end in sight for Canada’s foreign service workers strike

It doesn’t look like the foreign workers strike in Canada will be ending any time soon.

Around 150 of Ottawa’s foreign service officers walked off the job in the 15 largest immigration processing centres, including Beijing, New Delhi, Mexico City and London. The strike is causing a massive backlog in Canadian visa applications for students, temporary workers and tourists from around the world.

Anyone looking to get a visa is urged to submit their application as soon as possible.
