Head-on Sunday collision in Milton countryside hospitalizes motorcyclist with serious injuries

A serious collision between a sedan and a motorcycle in the Milton countryside on Sunday afternoon hospitalized the motorcyclist with serious injuries.

The incident happened on Twiss Road, north of Derry Road, just after 3:30 p.m.

A 17-year-old male was driving a Honda sedan southbound on Twiss Road as the motorcycle, operated by a 54-year-old-man, was travelling northbound.

Halton police say that the motor vehicles collided head-on as they maneuvered through a sharp curve. The man was transported to Hamilton General Hospital with serious injuries.

Due to the significance of the collision and injuries sustained, the Collision Reconstruction Unit was asked to join the investigation.
