Driver arrested for impaired driving in crash with e-bike in Niagara Falls

A Niagara Falls man has been charged following a two-vehicle crash Tuesday night.

Emergency crews were called to Kalar Rd., between Beaverdams Rd. and Paddock Trail Dr., around 8 p.m. after an e-bike and minivan collided.

The driver of the e-bike, a 56-year-old man from Niagara Falls, was injured.

He was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to a local hospital.

Police say he was then airlifted to an out-of-region hospital, where he remains with serious injuries.

The driver of the minivan was arrested at the scene.

Carl Henry Dunn, 56, faces impaired driving charges. His licence has been suspended for 90 days.
