Waterloo police arrest Hamilton man, drugs and stolen goods seized

Waterloo police have arrested a Hamilton man after seizing drugs, stolen vehicle parts and Canadian currency during an investigation into stolen vehicle components.

The investigation, beginning in December 2025, resulted in multiple search warrants being executed at different locations in Hamilton.

Officers say those searches led to them seizing suspected methamphetamine, fentanyl, cocaine, oxycodone pills, a significant sum of Canadian currency, electronic devices and stolen and fraudulent vehicle components.

As a result of the investigation, a 32-year-old Hamilton man was arrested and charged with the following offences:

  • Three counts of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime for the Purpose of Trafficking Under $5,000
  • Trafficking in Stolen Goods Under $5,000
