Hamilton man faces weapons charges after road rage incident

A Hamilton man has been arrested after police say he shot a BB gun at a moving vehicle in a wild case of road rage.

Ontario Provincial Police say on April 15, 48-year-old Michael Capoferri was driving near Nikola Tesla Boulevard and the QEW when he fired several shots at the passenger side of the vehicle on the road beside him.

The investigation led to a search of Capoferri’s home on Oct. 8 where police recovered eight pellet and BB guns, ammunition and a prohibited weapon.

Capoferri is facing two weapons charges as well as charges of mischief to property.
