There was one winning Lotto 6/49 ticket sold for Saturday night’s draw — and it was sold in Mississauga.

The prize was a record $64 million dollars — the biggest single amount in Canadian lottery history.

A guaranteed prize of $1 million was also available in the draw, and it went to a ticket holder in Quebec.

The previous Canadian lottery record was $63.4-million for a 6/49 draw back in April of 2013.

That prize was shared among four ticketholders, with each banking just under $16-million.

The Ontario Lottery Corporation have not revealed yet exactly where in Ontario the ticket was sold, or whether it belongs to a single person or a group of people.
