OPP responded to over 100 crashes in GTHA after snowstorm

Ontario Provincial Police officers say they responded to over 100 collisions and 125 stranded vehicles in 24 hours following Wednesdays snowstorm.
An Environment Canada meteorologist said Toronto’s Pearson International Airport saw about 26 centimetres of snow by Thursday morning.
They said it was the region’s biggest snowfall of the year.
Emergency officials are warning drivers to use caution and to drive slowly in snowy conditions.
The OPP Highway Safety Division posted on X at 5 p.m. Thursday asking drivers to stay in control.
