Former Toronto mayor Rob Ford says he will undergo chemotherapy to treat a new cancerous tumour doctors found on his bladder.

Ford told reporters outside Toronto’s Mount Sinai Hospital that he’s been in terrible pain for several weeks, but said he will continue to fight until the day he dies. Ford, who was diagnosed with a rare type of cancer in September 2014, had a cancerous tumour removed from his abdomen in May and last month said he was cancer-free.

His brother, former councillor Doug Ford, said the latest tumour appeared consistent with the previous one.
