Jerseyville Road West reopens after head-on collision investigation

Portions of Jerseyville Road West have reopened following a head-on collision between two vehicles Thursday morning.

Officers closed the road between Highway 52 and Shaver Road following the crash to investigate.

Hamilton police told CHCH News some people involved in a crash that occurred just after 6 a.m. were injured as a result of the collision.

They did not say how many passengers were in either vehicle nor the severity of their injuries.

Officers closed portions of the road until just after 10:30 a.m. during their investigation.

Hamilton police posted on X just after 10:40 a.m. that the roads have reopened since the crash.
