Halton police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a hit-and-run driver from a Burlington incident in July.
On July 10 at around 9:50 a.m., a teenaged male pedestrian was crossing through the intersection of Appleby Line and Dundas Street when he was struck by a vehicle attempting to turn onto Dundas Street from Appleby Line.
Officers say the driver stopped and quickly spoke with the teenage boy before continuing east on Dundas Street.
Investigators say the pedestrian was taken to hospital with serious, non-life-threatening injuries.

Detectives say the suspect vehicle is described as a light-coloured, medium-sized SUV, possibly a Subaru Forester or an Outback.
Police say the suspected vehicle driver is described as a white woman with light-coloured hair. She is around five-foot-five tall and around 40 to 50 years old.
Anyone with information regarding this investigation, including anyone who may have dash camera video from the area around the time of the crash, is asked to contact Const. Luke Huinink at luke.huinink@haltonpolice.ca
