Jays fall short in Kansas City

The playoff run for the Toronto Blue Jays is over.
Toronto lost 4-3 to the Kansas City Royals in game 6 of the American League Championship Series.
The Royals will host the New York Mets in game 1 of the World Series beginning Tuesday.
The Blue Jays tied the game at 3-3 in the top of the 8th inning as Jose Bautista hit a two-run homer, his second home run of the game.
That second home run was followed by a 45 minute rain delay.
The Royals manufactured the winning run in the bottom of the 8th off Jays closer Roberto Osuna when Eric Hosmer’s single scored Lorenzo Cain from first base.
