Hamilton police say they have found the weapon that was used in the fatal shooting of a 19-year-old on Thursday evening.

Officers say the firearm was found near the scene of the shooting, on the 9th floor of the CityHousing building at 191 Main St. W.

Investigators are still searching for two suspects who they say are responsible for the killing of 19-year-old Talon Williams-Parkin.

Detectives believe the death was a result of an exchange of gunfire and that one of the the suspects was hit as well as the victim.
