A man from St. Catharines is facing additional charges Monday in connection with an investigation into child exploitation, after being previously charged in February.

Niagara police say they executed a search warrant at a home in St. Catharines on Feb. 9, where they seized digital devices capable of storing electronic data.

Officers then arrested 34-year-old Jordan Bolger and charged him with offences including luring a child to facilitate making child sexual abuse and exploitation material and for possessing child sexual abuse material.

Investigators say after a forensic review of the digital devices and alleging that they were Bolger’s, they charged him possessing child sexual abuse and exploitation material and making child sexual abuse and exploitation material.

Bolger has remained in custody since his initial arrest and is scheduled to attend a St. Catharines courthouse on May 12, 2026.

Detectives believe that Bolger went online using the usernames “Jay”, “N#1” and “alijayn01” on online platforms to commit offences against children.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police at (905) 688-4111, option 3, ext. 1009398.
