Hamilton police have identified the 19-year-old man killed in a downtown shooting and released suspect descriptions.
Ahead of their 2 p.m. press conference Friday, investigators say Talon Williams-Parkin was shot around 6:30 p.m. Thursday at an apartment building located at 191 Main St. West, near Hess Street South.
Williams-Parkin was transported to hospital where he died from his injuries.
According to investigators, the incident appears to have been an exchange of gunfire within an apartment. Detectives say evidence at the scene indicates that the victim was struck, as well as a second person believed to be one of the suspects.

Officers say they have identified two people who are believed to be connected to the shooting.
Police describe the first male suspect as short with long dreads and a fat face. The second male suspect is described as Black and tall with dreads and wearing a blue face mask.
Police say they received a report of an injured person in the area shortly after the shooting, but have been unable to connect the two incidents.
