Hamilton police seek suspect after serious stabbing in east Hamilton

Hamilton police are looking for a suspect after reports of a stabbing in east Hamilton Thursday morning resulted in a female being sent to hospital with serious injuries.

Officers say they were called to the area of Centennial Parkway and Queenston Road at around 8:17 a.m. following reports of a stabbing.

They say they found a female victim, who was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening, but serious injuries.

Investigators say the suspect is outstanding, and are working on a description of the person and where the incident took place.
