Brantford police searching for 21-year-old woman last seen Sept. 19

Brantford police are asking for the public’s help locating a 21-year-old woman last seen Sept. 19.

Authorities say Yewehnitahawi ‘Tia’ was last seen last Saturday around 11:45 a.m. in the area of North Park Street and St. George Street.

Tia is described as a five-foot-six tall Indigenous woman, 160 pounds, with long, black, curly hair.

She was last seen with her hair pulled back in a bun, wearing black flip-flop sandals, black socks, blue jogging pants and a blue hooded sweatshirt. Officers add that she has a cast on her right arm and was wearing a black sling.

Investigators say she has ties to London, Ont.
