On Apr. 5, 2022, a shocking video was taken of Boris Brott being hit by a speeding car that drove away and continued on a wild and sporadic ride through Hamilton. Renowned Canadian conductor Boris Brott is seen in the video trying to cross the street, but not making it across.

Lojovic, 35, is charged with failing to stop after a crash resulting in death, dangerous operation of a vehicle causing death, and breaching probation.

The defendant has a history of mental illness. Dr. Webb, a local psychiatrist who has been practicing for many years, said he treated him in 2018 and said Lojovic was a likable person.

He spoke about his bipolar diagnosis, and previous issues with driving, saying he had a history of sporadic driving, including driving his car into a Home Depot.

Closing arguments will be heard next week to wrap up the case.
