Charges for ladder on highway

Charges have been laid after a ladder fell off the back of a truck on the QEW in Oakville Wednesday afternoon.

The OPP say the driver of the pick up truck has been charged for having a load that wasn’t properly secured.

He could face a fine of 110 dollars.

OPP say the driver of a van — who was also involved — has been charged with careless driving.
