Beamsville teacher accused in student sex attack

A math teacher at Beamsville Secondary School has been charged with allegedly sexually assaulting a 16 year old girl.

Police say it happened several times at the school from January to June of this year.
Christopher Forrest, 34, of Beamsville, was released on $10,000 bail Thursday afternoon.
A spokesperson for the Niagara District School Board says Forrest has been a teacher at the school for 11 years. He also coaches the women’s field hockey and soccer teams.
Forrest is suspended without pay. His next court date is July 26.
