Icomm Drive road work wrapping up this week in Brantford as new closures loom

City officials say road work on the south side of Icomm Drive in Brantford is expected to be completed this week. 

The City of Brantford says weather permitting, the south lanes are expected to reopen to two-way traffic as early as Monday.

The city says to complete the remaining work along Brant Avenue, temporary traffic changes are set to go into place as early as next week and are expected to remain in place for up to three months, weather permitting.

Brant Avenue between Dalhousie and Colborne streets will be reduced to two lanes, with one in each direction.

Dalhousie Street between Bridge Street and Brant Avenue will be reduced to one lane while Colborne Street will be closed at Brant Avenue.

Additionally, the Lorne Bridge, west of Brant Avenue will be reduced to one eastbound lane and all westbound lanes will remain open.
