Construction on the Sherman Access, locally known as the Sherman Cut, is set to finish, with the road reopening Friday at 5 p.m.

The pass was undergoing extensive cleaning of the escarpment face and the work area, and the replacement of corroded steel facing walls on the road under Mountain Park Avenue, and the Concession Street bridges.

City staff would like to thank local residents for their patience during the closure as crews completed important resurfacing work.
