Hamilton warehouse fire leaves $750K in damages, no injuries

A warehouse fire in Hamilton has left nobody injured and over $750,000 worth of damages.

On Thursday at around 5:12 p.m., crews responded to a reported structure fire at 400 Glover Rd.

Fire crews tell CHCH News that this was a large warehouse with smoke showing on arrival.

Upon arrival, crews discovered a large blaze within the building in one of the pits that contained various lubrication oils.

Firefighters say the fire was quickly extinguished and crews performed ventilation to clear heavy smoke from the building.

Fire officials say power to the impacted area was isolated and the cause of the fire is undetermined.
