Man charged following fentanyl, weapons raid in St. Catharines

A St. Catharines man is facing 11 weapons and drug-related charges after police were issued warrants to search two city homes.

Niagara police say after a months-long investigation, with help from the Emergency Task Unit, detectives executed two search warrants on Jan. 20 and arrested a 41-year-old man.

Police seized the following:

  • 43.5 grams suspected fentanyl with an estimated street value of $4350.
  • $750 Canadian currency.
  • Stun baton
  • Expandable baton
  • Brass knuckles
  • Crossbow

Dustin Landry faces the following charges:

  • Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (Fentanyl) (2 counts)
  • Possession of Proceeds of Crime Under $5000
  • Possession of Prohibited Weapon (three counts)
  • Possession of a Weapon Contrary to Order (four Counts)
  • Disobey Court Order

Landry attended a bail hearing on Jan. 21.
