Barton St. stabbing

Hamilton police are still searching for suspects after an early morning stabbing incident.

The male victim is in stable condition in hospital but will need surgery.

A 9-1-1 call made just after one this morning reported that two vehicles were involved in a crash near Barton Street East and Grays Road.

Police say that collision resulted in a fight – and when they got there, they found the man had been stabbed several times.

The stabbing victim is not helping the police with their investigation.
