Loose ladder leads to crashes on QEW

A traffic nightmare on a busy stretch of the QEW Wednesday was triggered by a ladder that fell off the back of a truck.

It caused a series of minor crashes — and brought traffic to a halt.

As Adam Atkinson tells us, it could have been much worse.
