Niagara deputy police chief faces backlash after open letter defending officers

Niagara’s deputy police chief is not commenting after receiving backlash from an open letter he penned defending officers in the face of protests.

Bill Fordy wrote a letter and spoke with the media about it but an anti-racism association is calling his defense disappointing.

  1. Are we going to ignore the fact the one of his officers shot another officer and that the officer who was shot had MULTIPLE citations and even suspensions. Still didn’t lose his job….but we wonder why people don’t trust the NRP. It makes you wonder how many other officer have been or need to be charged
