Wednesday a free dental day

At a very young age, Anil Bhalla was taught by his parents to always share with those who have less.

It’s that lesson that led to the creation 3-years ago of free dental days. Every 4 to 6 months the Dundas dentist opens the doors of his practice and provides free care to those in need – everything from extractions to fillings to root canal.

Bhalla and his staff will see as many as 40 patients over the course of the day – many seniors, single parent families and low income earners who are forced to gamble with their oral health.

Dr Anil Bhalla’s day of free dental care is Wednesday May 2nd from 8:30 to 4:30, at 33 King Street East, Dundas. No appointment necessary; it’s done on a first come first served basis.
