Canadian health report card

The latest report card on provincial health policy shows some improvement on commitments made back in 2003, but progress is still spotty across Canada.

Ontario went beyond its initial commitments in a number of areas, including mental health services.

However, progress is not uniform throughout the country.

The provinces are in the middle of hashing out their own plan for the future of health care, now that Ottawa has signaled it doesn’t want to get involved in those policy discussions.
