A massive steel coil fell from a transport truck overnight in east Hamilton.

Police say the truck was near Burlington St. and Parkdale Ave. when the coil fell off and onto the curb.

Video from the scene shows damage to the back of the transport truck that was carrying the load.

Several heavy tow trucks and additional transport trucks were called in to remove it from the roadway.

City of Hamilton crews were also called in to inspect the damage.

No injuries were reported.
