Yahoo Japan is taking the web experience on their search engine to another level.

The company has developed technology that uses 3D printers to create solid plastic objects based on computer searches.

Yahoo plans to install the equipment at a school for children with special needs in Tokyo. They’ll study what they kids are curious about when they search and touch.

For example, if a word like cow is spoken into the machine, it searches for 3D data of the animal on the internet.

In about 15 minutes, it produces a solid, three-dimensional horse-shaped object that fits into the palm of a hand.
