On day three of the royal visit, Prince William and his wife Catherine helped plant a Canadian hemlock tree at Rideau Hall.
The ceremony happened not far from the pin oak tree that William’s parents planted in 1983.
The hemlock symbolizes the newlyweds love and marriage.
They were joined at the ceremony by couples who were married on April 29th, the same day as the royal couple.
After the tree planting, the Duke and Duchess headed to the Canadian war museum to meet with veterans and war brides before heading to Montreal.
They will spend the night sailing to Quebec City on board the HMCS Montreal.
