The city reassured that at this time they don’t believe any personal information has been compromised and they will inform us if that changes.
Since the city is heading into the next phase they’re now working with consulting firm Deloitte, which is helping with recovery, restoration and rebuilding of the system.
Previously, mayor Andrea Horwath said the criminals responsible for the attack demanded a lot of money but, they haven’t been paid any ransom by the city. After the attack council meetings were put off but now a special GIC meeting is set for Mar. 27 to work on time-sensitive issues. The city says some services have resumed online but again that’s not everything and as things start up there will be some changes.
The city reiterated that they will provide more information when it’s safe to do so but details are limited at this time, and we still don’t know when things will fully go back to normal.
