Sex worker identifed as Stoney Creek murder victim

Hamilton police have identified the woman killed in a Stoney Creek apartment last week.

Jiali Zhang, 40, a Chinese national who was living in Toronto, died November 12th of blunt force trauma. Investigators say Zhang had been working as an escort and came to Canada from Hong Kong in 2007.

Police went to the apartment building after a man called them to say he had killed a woman. Dalibor Klaric, 35, of Stoney Creek is charged with first-degree murder.
