A tour of 4 stops with Bruce County Tourism

Emily Vukovic went north to visit four different places with Bruce County Tourism and Destination Ontario.
Essentially Lavender was her first stop. This family run farm grows and hand-harvests lavender and produces small-batch natural home and body products.
Grassroots Woodfired Pizza was her next stop. This family-owned hidden gem uses local and organic ingredients in their pizza and farm-fresh salads, which you can enjoy while visiting the gardens, fields and farm animals.
Point Clark Lighthouse National Historic Site was the most historically significant stop on the trip, as it’s not just a photogenic lighthouse, but a piece of the story of 19th-century Great Lakes shipping, settlement and navigation.
Emily’s last stop was the Kincardine Lighthouse. Built around 1881 to serve the local fishing and salt-shipping industries, it is described as the only “downtown” lighthouse on the Bruce Coast.
So whether you are looking for food, fun or a little bit of history, it is worth the visit to Bruce County.
