School’s out for summer!

Summer is in the air for thousands of students today.

Another year will come to an end this afternoon for public schools. Despite the administrative strike that began on May 11th, marks will go home with students in Hamilton and Niagara. In Halton, only students in their final year will receive a report card. Teacher comments will be left out.

Many teachers and students have been counting down the days for this moment; now it’s just a matter of hours until the final bell goes off.

After 75 days of summer vacation students will go back to school on Tuesday, September 8th.
