Portions of York Blvd. westbound lanes to reopen ahead of schedule

Parts of York Boulevard that have been under construction since July will reopen ahead of schedule by the end of Friday.

The City of Hamilton posted on X Thursday that all westbound lanes on between Queen and Dundurn Streets will reopen by the end of Dec. 13, 2024.

The post further reads that the lanes from James to Queen Streets will reopen next week.

The construction project to install watermains, update bike paths and put in accessible sidewalks is expected to completely finish in August.
