Panhandler convicted in stabbing death

The panhandler that killed a St Catharines man in 2007 has been found guilty of second degree murder.

Nicole Kish, 24, asked Ross Hammond for change on a Toronto street — and when he refused — a fight started — ending with Hammond stabbed to death.
Amanda Blitz was in court Tuesday when the judge made his decision. And as she reports, Hammond’s family is pleased with the verdict.
