OPP looking for Good Samaritan who intervened in an assault in Port Dover
*UPDATE: The Good Samaritan has contacted police. The woman sustained minor injuries.
Investigators say a woman was walking through Powell Park on the evening of Fri. June 28 when she was assaulted by an unknown man.
They say someone came to help her and the attacker fled.
The suspect is described as:
- White
- Aged 30 – 40 years old
- 5’4
- Dark shoulder length hair, patchy facial hair
- Wearing a blue jean jacket with a hood and jeans
No arrests have been made. No information is available regarding the woman’s injuries.
Police are looking to speak with the Good Samaritan or any other witnesses.
