Hamilton Police looking for 2 suspects after an East End robbery

Police say two people, one man and a woman, broke into a home with a mother and her children inside, near Albany Ave and Kenilworth Ave. They brandished a gun and demanded property.

The homeowner told them where her phone and purse were, and the suspects fled, police say.

The mother, aged 35-40, took her children and fled next door to call police just after 1 a.m.

No injuries were reported.

Police are searching for the robber who are described as both having slender builds in dark clothes. Witnesses say they fled in a white SUV.
