Ontario is reporting 1,925 new cases of COVID-19 and 26 deaths.
This is a new record for daily cases and beats the record of 1,924 cases, which was set on Sunday on 59,251 tests.
Monday’s numbers come as the province completed 45,283 tests.
Ontario is reporting 1,925 cases of #COVID19 and nearly 45,300 tests completed. Locally, there are 601 new cases in Toronto, 512 in Peel, 167 in York Region and 133 in Durham. There are 1,412 more resolved cases.

Haldimand-Norfolk: 5 new cases, 26 active cases
Brant: 3 new cases, 59 active cases, 5 in hospital
Niagara: 20 new cases, 242 active cases, 12 in hospital
Halton: 58 new cases, 373 active cases, 23 in hospital
Hamilton: 90 new cases, 637 active cases, 3 deaths, 46 in hospital
The death toll now sits at 3,798 people.
There are 725 people hospitalized with COVID-19 in Ontario. Of those, 213 are in intensive care, while 121 of those are on ventilators.
Another 1,412 cases were marked as resolved.
The province is reporting 138 new cases of COVID-19 in schools.
