Niagara River Lions’ head coach, Victor Raso is now the team’s Senior Advisor and a new head coach and general manager has been appointed.

Kimbal Mackenzie, the current River Lions team captain and Brand & Community Ambassador will be taking over the roles of head coach and general manager.

The organization said in a statement that Raso’s new position allows him to focus on his young family while continuing to support the team.

Raso has been with the Niagara River Lions since 2017.
