Million-dollar grow op busted in St Kitts

A man and woman face several charges after police uncovered a St Catharines marijuana grow op worth more than a million dollars.

Almost 1200 plants, 2 kilograms of processed marijuana, growing equipment valued at about $20,000 and $2,000 in cash were seized at a house on Martindale Road.

That investigation led police to a second marijuana grow op in a house on South Service Road in Lincoln. More than 250 plants and growing equipment were seized from that home.

Andrew Bews, 37, and Shannon Holditch, 30, were arrested and charged.
