Man in serious condition after being stabbed in chest: Hamilton police

Hamilton police say a man is in hospital in serious condition after being stabbed in his chest overnight Saturday.

Emergency crews were called shortly after 2 a.m. to the area of King Street East and Wentworth Street South, where they found the man on a sidewalk.

Paramedics brought him to hospital in serious but non-life-threatening condition.

There is no word yet on a suspect wanted in connection with this stabbing or whether anyone has been arrested or charged.

Nearby residents and business owners are asked to review their surveillance video around the time of the stabbing for anything that could help with the police investigation.
