Hamilton police are asking for local help finding two teenage girls they believe to be travelling together to the Toronto area.

Officers say 14-year-old Jennie Cynthia O’Brien-Deemer and 13-year-old Dakota-Rae Monaghan were last seen at around 5 p.m. Sunday.

Investigators describe O’Brien-Deemer as a five-foot-nine tall white girl, weighing around 130 lbs, has light brown hair, hazel eyes and was last seen wearing a dark sweater.

They describe Monaghan as a five-foot-nine tall white girl with a thin build, red-brown hair and was last seen wearing a black shirt, black pants, and black running shoes.

Police say they and their families are concerned for their safety.

Anyone who has information on either teen, or their whereabouts are asked to contact police at 905-546-3886, or to the missing persons investigation unit at 905-540-8547.
